How to get it right
One mark, every package
A small brand looks bigger when the same label appears on everything it sells. A single round design with your name, a short product line and one color tells a customer that the tin, the pouch and the jar come from the same shelf. Keep the artwork simple enough to read across a room, and leave a clear margin inside the edge so the cut never touches your lettering. The label is waterproof and dishwasher-safe, so a damp storeroom, a wet counter or a quick wipe with a cloth will not lift the print or turn the label to pulp.
Pick a size for each package
Hold a paper circle against the real package before you order. A flat lid or the front of a pouch takes a larger label, while a small tin or a narrow jar needs a smaller one. Because each design is its own cart line, you can order a large label for the pouch and a smaller version of the same artwork for the tin, each with its own quantity and its own free proof. Shapes cost the same, so an oval, a rounded rectangle or a die cut that follows your logo is a free upgrade over a plain circle.
Made for makers who print in small runs
Plenty of product labels are sold by the thousand, which suits a factory and not a maker who fills fifty jars on a Saturday. Here you order a quantity that matches the batch, then reorder the same design when the shelf is empty. One design per sticker means no sheets of mixed labels, so every label in a run is identical. A lot number or a date that changes from label to label is not something we print; add it with a pen or a stamp, or order a new design for each batch.
Questions people ask about these
What size should a product label be?
Cut a paper shape and hold it against the package. Three inches across is a good starting point for a lid or a pouch front; go smaller for a tin or a narrow jar. You can set any custom size in the calculator.
Can I use one label design on different packages?
Yes. The same artwork can go on a tin, a pouch and a jar. If the sizes differ, order each size as its own item in the cart, with its own quantity and its own free proof.
Should product labels be matte or glossy?
Both are laminated and cost the same. Matte reads as natural and handmade; glossy makes colors look deeper. Pick the one that fits the packaging underneath it.
Are the labels waterproof?
Yes. They are printed on white vinyl under a laminate, which is waterproof and dishwasher-safe, so splashes and wipe-downs will not harm them.
Can I get a label in a shape other than a circle?
Yes. We die-cut any outline at no extra charge, and square, rectangle and rounded rectangle cost the same as a circle. The proof shows exactly where the cut falls.
How long until my product labels arrive?
They ship the next business day after you approve the proof, and US shipping is free, with USPS delivery in 3 to 5 business days and tracking. Faster upgrades are available at checkout.
