One Class of 2027 decal for one student's car: the page opens at 12 x 8 inches, one piece, drawn to scale on a cargo van. Put the year, the school name and the mascot in a single design, in your school colors, and the cut follows its outline. At this size it ships flat. If it goes on the rear window, keep the driver's view clear and check your state's rules. A class order is simplest with one shared design, because a name that differs from student to student makes each piece its own design.

How to get it right

Rear window, bumper and the school parking lot

The rear window is the classic spot, on the outside of the glass and out of the driver's line of sight and the wiper path. Check your state's rules for where decals may go, and the school's parking-lot rules, which the office can tell you. Because the adhesive on White and Clear vinyl is permanent, ask a parent before one goes on a family car. White vinyl, the default, is a solid piece on the glass, so keep it low and to one side, away from the view the driver needs. A bumper or a painted quarter panel suits a smaller piece. Clean the spot, let it dry fully, and keep the decal an inch or two inside the glass edge so no corner hangs over the frame. Press it on once the position is settled.

What to put on it so it reads from behind

A driver behind you gets a moment to read a rear window, so the year is the headline. Set SENIOR and 2027 large, and let the school name and the mascot sit smaller underneath. Two or three school colors on a solid background hold up better than a photo collage, and light lettering on a dark block reads from a car length back. A tiny line at the bottom disappears at that distance, so add a team or a club only if there is room. The free proof shows how your school colors will print before anything is made. A 12 x 8 inch block has room for three stacked lines; type a wider size for a wider window.

One student, a friend group, or the whole class

One student orders one piece. A friend group or a team sets the count to match, from the 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10 tiles or any number you type. A class order works best when one person, a class officer or a parent volunteer, owns the design: settle the mascot, the year, the colors and one short line, and upload a single file. If every student's name is part of the art, every name needs its own file and its own proof. Show the free proof to the class before one person approves it. Collecting names and money, and handing out the decals, happens on your side. Ask the school office whether the mascot artwork is approved for student use, because we print what you send.

Questions people ask about these

Can we order one design for the whole senior class?

Yes. Upload one file and set the count to the number of students. Names that differ from piece to piece are what turn one cart item into many.

Where should a senior decal go on the car?

On the outside of the rear window, clear of the driver's line of sight and the wiper path, once you have checked your state's rules. A bumper suits a smaller piece.

Will it come off after graduation?

On White vinyl and Clear vinyl it stays put by design: the adhesive is permanent, with no removable or repositionable option. For glass that has to go back to bare, choose Static cling under Material: it has no adhesive at all and is printed Mirror to sit inside the window and read from outside, on glass that is not tinted.

Can we use our school mascot and colors?

That is a question for the school office, since we print the artwork you send. The colors come from your file, and the free proof shows how they print.

What size senior car decal fits a rear window?

Start at 12 x 8 inches and check it against your own glass; a wide window can take a wider block. Enter the exact width and height you measured.

How early should we order?

White vinyl decals are made in 24 hours and ship the next business day after you approve the proof; allow two business days for Clear vinyl or Static cling. Free US shipping takes 3 to 5 business days with tracking, and faster options are at checkout, so count back from your first game or homecoming.
