How to get it right
One file, one proof, any number of copies
A bulk order here is one poster design with a bigger number in the quantity box. You upload one file, a designer checks it, and a free proof comes back, usually within one business day. Changes to the proof are free, with no limit on how many you ask for. You pay only after you approve the proof. Every copy is then printed from that approved file. If you need different posters - one per store, one per event date - each design is its own item in the cart with its own proof, and the quantity on each line is the number of copies of that one design.
Who orders a run, and which size they pick
A farmers market with a season of Saturdays needs the same poster for every stall and every shop window in town. A store group puts one sale poster in every location. A fundraising drive wants a stack for volunteers, and a school district sends one notice to every building. The sizes follow the walls: 11x14 and 12x18 fit crowded community boards, 18x24 is the standard for windows and venues, and 24x36 or larger is for a poster that has a wall to itself. The sixteen standard sizes run from 11x14 to 36x48, and a custom size goes up to 48x72.
How a run is packed and when it arrives
Production takes two business days after you approve the proof, and free US shipping then takes 3-5 business days in transit, with tracking. Posters up to 15" ship flat, and anything larger ships rolled in a sturdy tube. Nothing is folded, so there is no crease across the artwork. The paper is semi-gloss and is not waterproof: hang the posters indoors, or outside only in a dry place such as under a roof. Work back from the day they need to be up, and leave the proof a day of its own.
Questions people ask about these
How much does it cost to print a large number of posters?
The price depends on the size and the number of copies. The calculator shows the exact price before anything goes into the cart, and the price per poster goes down as the quantity goes up. The proof and shipping within the US are free, and you pay only after you approve the proof.
Is there a minimum for bulk poster orders?
No. One poster is a normal order, with the same free proof as a large run. The calculator starts at ten copies because a season of events or a set of stores usually needs a stack, and you can change the number to whatever you need.
Can I order several different posters in one order?
Yes. Each design is a separate item in the cart with its own file and its own free proof, and the quantity on each line is the number of copies of that design.
Where can I get a 24x36 poster printed in bulk?
Here. 24x36 is one of the sixteen standard sizes, printed on semi-gloss paper and shipped rolled in a tube. Choose it in the size row, type the number of copies, and the price is shown before you add it to the cart.
How are bulk posters packed and shipped?
Never folded. Posters up to 15" ship flat, and larger ones ship rolled in a sturdy tube. US shipping is free and takes 3-5 business days in transit, after two business days of production.
Can bulk posters be used outside?
Only in a dry place, such as under a roof or behind glass. The paper is not waterproof, so water damages it. Kept dry, a poster stays up as long as you need it.
