How to get it right
Registration packs and the recital season
A dance studio's year has two peaks: fall registration and the spring recital. A sticker in the registration pack, next to the schedule and the costume list, gives a new family something to claim as theirs. A recital sticker, with the show name or the year, goes in the gift bag backstage. Each one is its own design, so each is its own line in the cart with its own quantity and its own free proof. Order for every dancer, count the siblings, and keep a few spare for the late registrations.
Bags, bottles and the competition team
Dancers carry the studio everywhere: a water bottle, a shoe box, a makeup case, a locker door. Put stickers on those hard, smooth surfaces - they are not made for fabric, so skip the dance bag itself. A competition team can have its own sticker in a team color, ordered as a separate design and handed out at the first rehearsal. Because the vinyl is waterproof, a bottle that is washed after every class is fine. The adhesive is permanent, so pick the spot first. Script logos and thin lines at 3 inches
Dance logos love a flowing script and a hairline swash, and both can disappear when printed small. At 3 inches, thicken the thinnest strokes, keep the script to the studio name and leave out any tagline that has to be read. Lilac, pink and gold print well on white vinyl, but pale ink can disappear against white vinyl, so add an outline or a solid circle behind it. The free proof shows what will print and where it cuts, and changes are free. If you have two logos, such as a studio mark and a company-team mark, order them as two lines.

What size dance studio sticker should I order?
Three inches is a good start for a bottle or a shoe box, and it is where this page opens. Use 2 inches for a small gift or 4 to 5 inches for a window. Any custom size is available in the calculator.
Will my script logo print clearly at 3 inches?
It can, if the lines are thick enough. Thicken hairline strokes and avoid a tagline in tiny type. The free proof shows how the logo prints before you pay.
Can I order a different sticker for each recital or team?
