How to get it right
The new-student kit
The first class is when a student decides to come back. A kit that contains a class schedule, a welcome note and a sticker with the school's crest gives the family something to put on the bottle and the car. Order for the intake you expect over a season, and add a margin, because new students often start in the same week. When the school changes its logo or adds a belt-level crest, that is a new design, so it is a separate line with its own free proof. A sticker in the welcome kit also gives the parent a reason to ask how the first week went.
Belt-test days, tournaments and parents' cars
Belt-test day and tournament weekends are the two times the whole school is in one room. A sticker handed to every student after the test is a small keepsake, and a larger one for a parent's car window turns the lot outside the gym into an advertisement. Karate, taekwondo, jiu-jitsu and kickboxing schools all work the same way: one crest, one color per belt level if you want, each ordered as its own line. Each sticker here is one design. If you want belt reward stickers in every belt color on one sheet, that is a Custom Sticker Sheet, laid out by our designer from your files.
Drawing a crest that works small and in black ink
Martial arts logos often rely on fine brush strokes, calligraphy or a thin outline. At 3 inches, thicken those lines, and keep the school name on one short line below or beside the mark. A crane, a fist, a dragon or a simple character in a solid circle prints cleanly. Black ink on a red or white circle reads well on a dark gear case or a pale bottle. The free proof shows the print and the cut, and changes are free until you approve. Because the proof shows the cut line, you can confirm the circle sits cleanly around the crane before the run is made.
Questions people ask about these
What size martial arts school sticker should I order?
Three inches works well for a gear bag, a bottle and a folder, and it is where this page opens. A larger 4 to 5 inch sticker suits a car window. Any custom size is available in the calculator.
Do you make belt reward sticker sheets?
Yes, as Custom Sticker Sheets: several kiss-cut stickers on one 4 x 6 or 8.5 x 11 inch sheet, laid out by our designer with a free proof. This page is for your school's own logo stickers, one design per line.
Can I order a different sticker for each belt level?
Yes. Each design is its own line in the cart, with its own quantity and its own free proof, so each level is its own line.
Will the sticker hold up on a water bottle?
Yes. It is printed on laminated white vinyl, waterproof and dishwasher-safe. The adhesive is permanent, so apply it to a clean, dry surface.
Can you print each student's name?
No. Every sticker in a run prints the same, so we cannot put different names on each one. A school name that is the same on every sticker is fine.
How quickly can the school get them?
Orders ship the next business day after you approve the proof, with free USPS shipping across the US. For most files the proof appears on screen in seconds; otherwise a designer emails it, usually within one business day.
