How to get it right
One design for every production
A show sticker is a program you can keep. Make one design for each production, with the title and the dates in the artwork, and add each to the cart as its own item with its own quantity and its own free proof. That keeps the fall musical separate from the spring comedy, and it means next season you can reorder only the show that sold. Every sticker in a run is the same, so individual cast names cannot be printed on separate stickers. If the show has published title art, use only artwork your group has approved; we print the file you send.
Cast gifts, opening night and the merch table
The cast gift is the first order: a sticker in each opening-night envelope for the actors, the crew and the pit musicians. Then the front of house: a small stack at the concession table, where audience members buy one with a drink. Season subscribers can receive the season sticker with their tickets, and a volunteer or a donor can find one in a thank-you note. Larger runs cost less per sticker, so the cast gifts and the merch stack are cheaper ordered together than separately. Order ahead of tech week, when everyone is busy and nobody is looking at the mail.
Designing for a 3-inch stage
Theater artwork is full of fine lines - a script logo, a thin mask outline, a starry background. At 3 inches, keep the lines thick and the colors few. Gold on dark and white on black are both easy to read. A mask, a curtain or a lantern gives an interesting outline, and any outline costs the same as a circle. Can I put the cast names on the stickers?
You can print the cast names as part of one design, but every sticker in a run prints the same. Different names on different stickers are not possible.
Can I use the logo of a published show?

Are the stickers waterproof?
