A class gets a year of moments, and a sticker can mark each one. A senior night hand-out, a spirit-week giveaway, a gift from the class officers and the sticker handed out on the last day all use the same artwork or a variation on it. Make two or three designs with the same colors: the class year, a motto and a mascot, and the class has a set. Each design is its own item in the cart, with its own quantity and its own free proof. Drawing the year so it cuts well
The year is the heart of the sticker, so make it large and thick. A varsity-style block numeral cuts cleanly and survives a small size. Joined shapes work better than four separate digits, which can leave loose pieces, so give the digits a shared outline or sit them on a banner, shield or circle. The sticker is cut along that outline, and the proof shows the cut line before anything prints. Gold on black, school colors on white and white on a dark color all read well. Keep thin script and small slogans out of the artwork, since they are the first thing lost at 3 inches.
