How to get it right
Reunion check-in, homecoming and giving day
An alumni sticker works because it is small and keeps. A reunion committee puts a stack on the check-in table. A homecoming booth hands them out with the lanyard. A giving day thank-you goes in the mail with a note. These are three different moments, and each deserves its own design, ordered as its own line with its own quantity and its own free proof. Put the reunion year on the reunion sticker and leave the year off the main crest, so the crest design can be reordered for as long as it is useful.
A crest and a monogram, ordered as two lines
Many alumni associations use a pair: a full crest with the words Alumni, and a plain monogram or initial in a small circle. They do different jobs. The crest goes on a laptop, a car window or a mailer. The monogram goes on a mug, a tumbler or a notebook cover. They are two designs, so they are two lines in the cart at different sizes, and you can order a larger quantity of the one you give away most. Both are printed on the same laminated vinyl and shipped together.
Artwork your school has approved
Alumni crests often include a school seal or a mascot, and official marks belong to their owners. Use artwork your association or school has approved; we print the file you send. If you only have a low-resolution crest, send it anyway: the designer checks the file, prepares the cut line and, for most files, the free proof appears on screen within seconds. Nothing prints until you approve it, and changes to the proof are free. If the crest changes for an anniversary year, place it as a new line so the standard crest stays available for later runs.
Questions people ask about these
What size alumni sticker should we order?
Three inches is a good start for a crest on a laptop or a mailer, and it is where this page opens. A 2 inch monogram fits a mug or a notebook. Any custom size is available in the calculator.
Can we use the school's logo?
Use artwork your association or school has approved. Official marks belong to their owners, and we print the file you send.
Can I order a crest and a monogram together?
Yes. They are two designs, so they are two lines in the cart, each with its own size, quantity and free proof.
Are alumni stickers good for mailing to graduates?
Yes. They are flat and light, and they fit in an envelope or a postcard mailer. They are printed on laminated white vinyl.
Can you cut the sticker in the shape of a shield?
Yes. We die-cut any outline at no extra charge, so a shield costs the same as a circle. The free proof shows the cut line.
How soon can they be ready for homecoming?
Orders ship the next business day after you approve the proof, with free USPS shipping across the US. For most files the proof appears on screen in seconds; otherwise a designer emails it, usually within one business day.
