Which photo works
The clearest photos are lit evenly, in focus and taken straight-on or close to it - shadows across half the face make the cut line harder to place cleanly. Send the original photo file, not a screenshot or a copy pulled from social media, since each save loses sharpness. A background that is not too busy helps too, though you do not need to remove it yourself: send the full photo and let our designer find the edge. A phone photo works fine as long as it is sharp and well-lit.

You do not draw the outline yourself. Upload the photo, and our designer prepares the cut line around the face as part of your free digital proof, at no extra charge. The proof shows exactly where the cut will fall, so you can ask for the line to move in or out before you approve anything - revisions are unlimited. Once approved, it prints on the same laminated, waterproof, dishwasher-safe vinyl used across the site, so the finished sticker holds up to being handled and washed.
