How to get it right
A shop's own design, not a bag of stock decals
Halloween decor at a retail scale usually means vinyl clings pre-printed with a witch or a black cat, sold by the same aisle every store on the block also shops from. A cling printed from your own file — a shop mascot in a costume, a seasonal version of your logo, a hand-drawn illustration — is the version nobody else on the street is putting up. Upload artwork as a rectangle, a circle, or a die cut following the shape of the design itself; all three come in the same size range. The result is only as distinctive as what you send us — a stock ghost printed to order is still a stock ghost.
Order in the first half of October
Production takes two business days once a proof is approved, and free US shipping runs three to five business days after that — the print itself is never the bottleneck. Artwork is. A seasonal design usually goes through at least one round of changes before it looks right, and every change means another proof to approve. Counting backward from Halloween night, ordering in the first two weeks of October leaves room for a revision and still lands the cling on the glass with days to spare, rather than a rush the week of the 31st when a mistake in the file has no time left to fix.
Printed for the inside of the glass
Pick Mirror when you order and the proof will show exactly how the reversed artwork reads once it's inside the glass — nothing goes to print until that's confirmed. Applied inside, it also sits out of reach of wind, rain, and the trick-or-treat crowd that tends to test anything taped to the outside of a door. White ink under the design keeps lettering or a logo readable against whatever is lit or dark behind the glass that night; clear film alone is the right call when the design should look printed straight onto the window.
Questions people ask about these
Can I print my own Halloween design instead of choosing a stock one?
Yes — that's the only kind we print. Upload your artwork and we cut it to a rectangle, circle, or a die cut following the design's own outline.
What size fits a single storefront window?
A 12" to 18" panel covers most door and window panes; go to 23" or larger for a main display window, and order one cling per pane rather than one oversized piece.
Will it hold up if I put it on the outside for trick-or-treaters to see?
It's made for the inside of the glass. Outdoors it only holds on shaded, protected glass — open wind and rain on Halloween night will lift the edges, so inside and mirrored is the reliable choice.
Can I reuse it next October?
Yes, if it's stored flat between two sheets of paper out of direct sun. A crease is what spoils a cling, not a year in a drawer.
How soon should I order before the 31st?
Production is two business days after proof approval plus a few days of shipping, but artwork revisions take longer than the print — ordering in the first half of October leaves room for a round of changes.
Does it leave any residue on the glass when Halloween is over?
No. There's no adhesive on the film, so it comes off whole and the glass needs nothing more than its usual cleaning.
