How to get it right
Big number, short sentence, nothing else
A promotion on glass is read at walking or driving speed, which gives it about one second. That is room for a number and three or four words, and nothing more. The most common mistake on a sale window is a paragraph of terms printed at the same size as the offer - it makes the offer harder to read and nobody stops to read the terms anyway. Put the number large, the condition small, and let the door carry the detail.
A seasonal set you own rather than reprint
Because the film is reusable, a retailer who runs the same handful of promotions every year is better served by owning a set than by reprinting one each season. A summer sale, an end-of-season clearance, a public-holiday weekend and a plain closing-down-for-stocktake piece cover most of a year. Stored flat between sheets of paper and out of the sun, each one goes back up on clean glass as many times as you need it.
Sizes, and what fits on the glass you actually have
Sizes run from 4" to 48" on the longer side, as a circle, square, rectangle or a die cut following your own outline - a starburst or a price tag shape does not have to sit inside a box. For a storefront read from the sidewalk, 18" to 24" is the working range; for glass read from a parking lot, start at 36". White film keeps the offer readable with daylight behind it; clear film lets the shop show through and suits decorative pieces rather than price messages.
Questions people ask about these
Does it come off cleanly when the sale ends?
Yes, in one piece and with no residue, because there is no adhesive on it at all. That is the difference between this and a vinyl decal, which is designed to stay and has to be scraped.
Can I use the same cling again next year?
Yes. Store it flat between two sheets of paper, out of direct sun, and it goes back up on clean glass. A promotion that repeats annually is the best possible use of this material.
What size does a sale sign need to be?
Judge it by reading distance. Read from the sidewalk, 18" to 24" works. Read from across a parking lot, start at 36". Sizes run 4" to 48" and the calculator prices each one live, so compare two before choosing.
Can it be cut to a shape rather than a rectangle?
Yes - circle, square, rectangle, or a die cut following your own outline. A price-tag or starburst shape is a normal order.
Inside or outside the glass?
Inside, and printed mirrored so it reads correctly from the street - choose mirror in the calculator and we confirm the side in the free proof. Outside it holds only on shaded or protected glass; for a fully exposed window, vinyl stickers are the better material.
How long from order to window?
Two business days in production after you approve the free proof, then free US shipping with 3-5 business days in transit.
