How to get it right
Why a logo works as a die-cut, not a square
We cut precisely along your logo's own outline instead of stamping it inside a square or circle - on a laptop, a toolbox or a shop window, that is the difference between a logo and a label. Because the rainbow shift lives in the holographic film itself and not in the ink, it shows best where your mark leaves some open space around the letterforms or the icon; a logo filled edge to edge with solid dark color hides more of the shift than it shows. If your logo has a wordmark and an icon, consider cutting them as two separate pieces so each keeps its own outline and its own light. The adhesive is permanent, made for hard, smooth surfaces - laptops, water bottles, toolboxes, packaging and glass - and holds through normal handling and weather.
What to send us
A vector file - AI, EPS, PDF or SVG - gives the cleanest die-cut line, because the outline is a real path rather than a guess at the edge of pixels. A flattened JPG or PNG works too if it is sharp and at least 300 DPI at your ordering size, though a transparent background helps us find the true edge. Because holographic film reads through open space, a logo with thin negative space between letters - a script font, for instance - will show a fainter shift there than a bold sans-serif with wide counters. If your file has fine strokes or type under about 6 points at the finished size, we will flag it on the proof and suggest a size that holds rather than print something too fine to survive weather and handling.

Will my logo's rainbow shift show up on the proof?
No. The digital proof shows the cut line, the layout and the size accurately, but the shimmer is a property of the physical film and only appears under moving light once the sticker is printed. Expect a flat-looking proof and trust that the holographic film is doing its job once you have the sticker in hand.
What size shows the effect best for a logo?
2 inches and larger is where the shift becomes noticeable, and 3 inches or bigger gives it real room to move. A tiny logo sticker under 1.5 inches can still work, but the rainbow effect will be harder to see than on a larger piece with open space around the mark.
Do I have to pick a finish, like glitter or cracked-ice?
