How to get it right
A phone is handled and lit differently than a laptop or a bottle
A phone spends the day in a hand, turning constantly as it's picked up, set down and glanced at, which gives a holographic shift more chances to catch changing light than almost any other surface people put a sticker on. Because it's viewed up close rather than across a room, a smaller design still reads clearly, but the same rule applies as everywhere else with this film: the shift shows best where the artwork leaves open space, and a sticker filled edge to edge with dense, dark color mutes more of the rainbow effect than it shows. A bold icon, a small wordmark or a simple illustration with some breathing room around it makes better use of the shift at this size than a detailed, busy design would.
Where it goes on the case, and where it should not
The flat back panel of a phone case is the natural spot - centered, off to a corner, or wherever there's room away from the camera housing and the edges where buttons and ports sit. Keep the sticker's edge a short distance from the camera housing so it doesn't lift when the case flexes there or affect how the case fits your phone. A 2 inch custom shape leaves room to work around that housing on most cases; if your case has a large camera bump, a smaller or an off-center placement usually fits better than centering the design. Applied directly to bare phone glass rather than a case works the same way, as long as the surface is clean and dry first.
The proof, the adhesive, and how fast it ships

Will the shift show up on my phone sticker proof?

Where should I place it so it doesn't interfere with the case or camera housing?

Can it go straight on bare phone glass instead of a case?
Yes, as long as the glass is clean and dry before you apply it. The permanent adhesive works the same way on bare phone glass as it does on a case - press it down fully rather than just at the center.
Will it peel off when I take my case off and on?
Not from normal case removal on its own, since the adhesive is permanent and made for a hard, smooth surface. Repeated bending right at a sticker's edge, such as flexing a case to snap it on, is what causes lifting over time.
