A bumper sticker is read from a car length back, usually at a stoplight or in a parking lot, in the few seconds before traffic moves again. One thing has to win that read: the name - a candidate's, or a ballot measure's - set large enough to take in first, with the office or the ask and the date in smaller type below it. This sticker is laminated vinyl with a permanent adhesive, built to last up to 5 years outdoors in direct sunlight, rain and snow - once it is applied and pressed down, it comes off only by scraping or with heat. Some supporters want that commitment; others do not, especially on a leased car or a company vehicle. For them, order the design instead as a mirror-printed static cling: no adhesive, holds to the inside of the car window by static, and peels off in one piece whenever the campaign ends. Should the design include the election year?
