How to get it right
Short lines that work in a photo
One line, or two at most. Put the lettering across the top of the mirror or along an edge and leave the middle free, so the face is in the frame and the words sit above it. Lines that work: "You look amazing", "Selfie station", "Hello gorgeous", "Say cheese", or a hashtag and the couple's names. Send the exact words and the designer sets them in white lettering.
Weddings, parties and everyday mirrors
At a wedding it is a photo corner by the entrance or the restroom mirror; at a shower or a birthday it is the mirror by the door. A fitting room, a salon station or a gym wall can carry a daily line such as "You are enough" or "Today is going to be good". Because there is no adhesive, the same decal can go up for the event and come down for the cleaner.
Size, placement and putting it up
Twelve inches on the long side fits one short line across the top of a tabletop or hallway mirror; 18 to 23 inches suits a full-length mirror, and sizes go up to 48 inches. Measure the glass and leave a hand width clear at the edges. Clean the mirror, mist it with plain water, lay the cling on while it is wet and smooth it from the center out.
