How to get it right
A handout sticker that doubles as a mini logo
A food truck's handout sticker gets seen up close, so it's worth die-cutting it to the exact outline of your logo instead of dropping it inside a plain circle or square — the custom shape reads as a finished piece of merch, not a label. A 3x3 footprint is large enough to read from arm's length on a to-go box lid or a customer's cooler, and small enough to hand out without feeling like a full decal. Because the vinyl is laminated and waterproof, it survives damp hands, coolers, and being tossed in a glovebox. Order in a batch of a few hundred so a busy weekend of service doesn't run you out mid-shift.
The truck itself takes Large Decals
This page is for the stickers you hand out and the ones that seal a to-go box. The truck itself is a different job with its own product, Large Decals. Large Decals start from one piece and are printed on the same laminated white vinyl as the stickers on this page, in any size up to 48 x 80 inches. Order one for a side panel or two for both sides, and the Large Decals page draws the decal to scale on a cargo van before you buy. They are decals, not a wrap, and the adhesive is permanent. Use the same artwork for both jobs: a small die-cut of your logo for customers here, and a large decal on the panel. Measure the flat part of the panel first, clear of the service window and the seams.
The window menu and seasonal changes
If your menu board sits behind the service window and changes with the seasons, a static cling window decal is worth considering instead of a permanent sticker there — it holds in place with static rather than adhesive, so it comes down cleanly when the menu updates. Reserve the permanent vinyl decals for branding that isn't changing, like your logo and truck name, and use the cling for anything you expect to swap. The two aren't interchangeable: a cling won't survive being handled the way a handout sticker does, and a permanent decal isn't meant to come off cleanly once applied.
Questions people ask about these
Can I get a large decal for the side of my truck, not just a small handout sticker?
Yes, but not on this page. Truck sides are made as Large Decals, a separate product that starts from one piece and goes up to 48 x 80 inches on the same laminated white vinyl. The stickers here are for handouts and box seals.
What size works for a handout sticker?
A 3x3 die cut, where this page opens, reads from arm's length on a box lid and still fits in a hand. Sizes from 2 inches suit cup lids and bag seals, and the calculator takes any size you type.
Can the handout sticker and the truck decal share one design?
Yes. Use the same artwork for both: order the handout stickers here and the truck-side decal from Large Decals. Each one gets its own free proof.
Will it hold up outdoors and through a shift of handling?
Yes. It is laminated waterproof vinyl made for indoor and outdoor use, so rain, sun and a day of handling are what it is built for.
Can I get a removable sticker for a rotating menu item?
Our stickers use permanent adhesive; for something you plan to change out, a static cling window decal is the better fit.
How many handout stickers should I order?
Count a busy weekend: one sticker for each order you hand out, plus the boxes you seal. The calculator prices any count you type.
Will I see a proof before I pay?
Yes, for most files. Upload your design and the proof appears on screen in seconds, with the cut line, at the size and shape you chose - before you pay. If a file needs a designer's eye, we email the proof instead, and changes are free until it is right. Nothing prints until you approve it.
