How to get it right
The feature board inside the door
Visitors walk into an open house and look for two things: the price and what makes the home different. A feature poster on an easel just inside the door answers both - a hero photo, the price, the three strongest features, and the agent's contact at the bottom. 18x24 fits a standard easel.
Listings in the office lobby
A brokerage lobby rotates listings constantly. A standard frame size and a poster per listing means a sold home comes out and a new one goes in without new hardware. Semi-gloss paper does not stick to frame glass, so every print comes out cleanly.
For the front window, use a cling
Posters are indoor paper. For a listing card facing the street on the office window, a window cling is the better material - it goes on the glass and swaps without residue. For the easel and the lobby frame, the poster is the right choice.
A QR code needs to scan, not just look sharp
A feature poster that includes a QR code linking to a virtual tour or the online listing only works if the code actually scans off paper. Keep the code large and set against a high-contrast background, and submit it as part of a vector file or a 300 DPI original rather than a small image pulled off a phone screen - a code that looks fine at screen size can blur just enough when enlarged to poster size that a phone camera in someone's hand at the open house won't read it at all.
Ordering for a full weekend of showings
An agent running two or three open houses on the same weekend can put every listing's feature poster into a single order rather than placing them separately. Each listing is still its own design with its own free proof, since the photos, price and highlights are different for every property being shown that weekend, but combining them means one checkout and one shipment instead of tracking several separate orders arriving on different days before the weekend.
Questions people ask about these
What size is best for an open house easel?
18x24 inches fits a standard easel and reads from the doorway.
Can I order one poster per listing?
Yes - one per design is a normal order, with a free proof.
Can it go outside by the yard sign?
No, it is indoor paper. For outdoor signage use a weatherproof material; for window glass, a cling.
How quickly can it arrive for the weekend?
Two business days in production after proof approval plus 3-5 business days shipping - order early in the week before.
Will it fit a standard frame?
Yes - 18x24 and 24x36 match ready-made frames.
Can I include a QR code linking to the virtual tour on the poster?
Yes - upload it as part of your design. Keep it large and high-contrast, and use a vector file or a 300 DPI original so it stays sharp enough at print size for a phone camera to actually scan it once it's hanging.
Can I order feature posters for several listings at once?
Yes - each listing is still its own design and its own free proof, but they can be combined into a single order so everything for the weekend ships together instead of arriving on separate days beforehand.
