How to get it right
The name, the number, and one line about the ride
A shuttle is read from the curb as it pulls in, so the order matters: the name first and largest, the phone number second, one short line third. Hotels usually add the kind of ride, such as Airport Shuttle. An airport parking lot gives the lot name and a number for pickup. A senior living community, a campus or a church can run the name alone, with a number if riders call for a pickup. Leave off the web address, the founding year and the badges. Hold a strip of cardboard cut to 48 x 18 inches against the panel and look at it from across the lot before you order.
Both sides from one file, and the rest of the fleet
Type 2 and both sides print from one design, with one proof. Using the same file on each side means the words read left to right on both. The front, the rear and the entry door are different spaces, so each wants its own design and its own proof. An operator with three shuttles types 6, and a campus with a dozen vehicles types any count: one design, one proof. A 48 x 18 decal rolls into a sturdy tube, so it arrives crease-free. Laminated white vinyl ships the next business day after you approve the proof. Passenger vans, church vans and mixed fleets have their own pages, linked below.
A panel that holds a decal, and what we do not print
A decal needs a flat, clean, dry, smooth stretch of paint. Ribs, rivets and deep seams are where decals lift, and we make no promise for them, so measure between them. We print the decal and ship it. You or a local shop applies it, and the adhesive is permanent, so settle the placement with tape first. We print full-color decals, not full-bus wraps, and we do not make reflective film or cut vinyl lettering. The design prints as you send it, so check every digit of the phone number on the free proof before you approve it.
Questions people ask about these
What size should shuttle bus decals be?
Start from 48 x 18 inches for a side panel, then measure your own: the flat space below the windows, clear of ribs and seams, and type that size. One piece can be up to 48 x 80 inches.
Can I put the same decal on both sides of the bus?
Yes. Choose a quantity of 2 and both print from one file with one proof. Because the file is the same, the text reads left to right on both sides.
How many decals do I need for a fleet of shuttles?
Two for each shuttle, one per side, so three shuttles is 6. Type any count. A different design for the front, the rear or a door is a separate item with its own proof.
Do you make reflective decals or full bus wraps?
No. We print full-color decals on laminated white vinyl, one piece at a time. We do not make reflective film, full-vehicle wraps or cut vinyl lettering.
Do you install the decals on the bus?
No. We print the decals, roll them into a tube and ship them. You, your maintenance team or a local shop applies them to a clean, dry, smooth panel.
Can I take a shuttle decal off later?
Think of it as staying. The adhesive is permanent, and we make no promise about how the panel looks if the decal comes off. If the shuttle is leased, check with the owner before you order.
