How to get it right
One printed design, thirty handwritten names
This is the trick that makes a classroom order affordable. Print the room number, the teacher name or a small illustration once, in quantity, on matte vinyl - then write the student name on each one with a fine permanent marker as you hand out books, bins and folders. Glossy will not take ink; matte will, and it dries in seconds. It is also why 2" is the right size: enough room for printed type and a handwritten first name underneath.
Bins, books, cubbies, bottles
Each surface behaves differently. A plastic supply bin and a metal cubby door are easy and permanent. A book cover or a laminated folder holds well but the sticker becomes part of it. A water bottle is the surface this material is happiest on - it is waterproof and goes through a dishwasher without the print lifting. Paper covers and cardboard boxes are the ones to think about twice, because coming off will tear them.
These do not come off, and that is the trade
The adhesive is permanent and we do not offer a removable version. On anything that gets reassigned every August - trays, bins, lockers - that means a sticker per year and a cleanup with isopropyl alcohol, or a label placed somewhere it can be covered by the next one. Where durability is the point, on bottles and equipment that live hard, permanent is exactly the property you want.
Questions people ask about these
Can I write student names on these?
On matte, yes - a fine permanent marker takes to it cleanly and dries in seconds. Choose matte above when you configure the order; glossy resists ink and smudges.
Do you sell packs of reward stickers?
No. Everything here is printed from artwork you supply - a classroom name, a logo, a room number, your own illustration. Ready-made star and smiley packs are a different kind of shop.
Will they come off bins and lockers at the end of the year?
Not cleanly. The adhesive is permanent, so removal means gentle heat and isopropyl alcohol for the residue. On anything reassigned every year, plan for that or place the label where a new one can cover it.
Are they safe on a water bottle that goes in the dishwasher?
Yes. This is laminated waterproof vinyl, and washing does not lift the print. It is the same material and the same behavior as our water bottle stickers.
What size works for labeling supplies?
Two inches covers most of it - bins, books, cubbies, bottles. Go to 3" for a door or a large tub where the label is read from across the room, and 1" to 2" for pencil cases and small items.
Can a school order several designs at once?
Yes, as separate items in one cart - one per grade, per room or per teacher. Each has its own proof and its own price based on its own quantity, and they ship together.
Will I see a proof before I pay?
Yes, for most files. Upload your design and the proof appears on screen in seconds, with the cut line, at the size and shape you chose - before you pay. If a file needs a designer's eye, we email the proof instead, and changes are free until it is right. Nothing prints until you approve it.
