How to get it right
Sermon series and seasonal events
A sermon series poster carries the series artwork and title and lives in the lobby for four to eight weeks. An event poster - a VBS week, a fall festival, a Christmas service - needs the date and the time large enough to read on the way past. 24x36 suits the lobby; 18x24 suits hallway boards and classroom doors.
Frames that outlast the series
Buy the frames once, in standard sizes, and print into them. Our posters print on semi-gloss paper that does not fuse to frame glass, so each series comes out cleanly when the next one goes in. Sizes match ready-made frames: 18x24, 24x36 and, for a square series logo, 24x24.
Timing for the season
Christmas and Easter posters are the ones that end up late. Production is two business days after proof approval and shipping takes 3-5 business days, so plan the seasonal set about three weeks before the first service it announces.
Wayfinding inside a growing church
A growing church often needs simple wayfinding inside the building - signs pointing to the nursery, the youth room, the welcome center or the coffee station - separate from the sermon series artwork hanging in the main lobby where most visitors first arrive. These read at close range in a hallway rather than from across a room, so 11x14 or 18x24 is usually enough, and a coordinated set printed in one consistent size gives new visitors a clear, familiar look to follow from the front door all the way to wherever they're actually headed.
One series poster, many campuses
A church with more than one campus can print the same sermon series or event poster once and order it as a run, so every location's lobby carries the same artwork on the same Sunday without a separate design and proof cycle at each site. One approved file, one proof, and the quantity set to the number of campuses covers the whole rollout in a single order, which keeps the visual identity consistent across every location without multiplying the design work every time a new series begins on the calendar.
Questions people ask about these
What size should a sermon series poster be?
24x36 inches for the lobby, 18x24 for hallway boards. Both fit standard ready-made frames.
Can we order one of each design?
Yes - one poster per design is a normal order, with a free proof for each.
Will posters stick to the frame glass over time?
No. The semi-gloss paper is made not to fuse to frame glass, so you can swap prints every series.
How far ahead should we order for Christmas?
About three weeks before the first service it announces, to leave room for a round of proof changes.
How are they shipped?
Rolled in a mailing tube with free US shipping in 3-5 business days, after two business days in production.
Can we order the same series poster for more than one campus location?
Yes - order it as a run under one design. One proof approval covers the whole batch, and the quantity is simply set to the number of campuses you need copies for, so every location gets the same artwork.
What size works for wayfinding signs to the nursery or youth room?
11x14 or 18x24, depending on hallway width and how close people stand when reading it as they pass by. A coordinated set printed in one consistent size gives visitors a clear look to follow through the building.
