The calendar is the whole plan
Production is two business days after you approve the proof, and shipping takes 3-5 business days. A poster that needs to be on a wall by October 24 should be approved by about October 12. Leave a few days for a round of changes to the proof and you are ordering in the first half of October.
What each poster needs
A party poster needs the date, the time and the address, with a costume theme if there is one. A haunted house or a community event needs the opening nights and the price. A costume contest needs the categories and the prize. All of them are read at walking pace, so the date goes large and the details go small.
Dark designs print dark
Halloween artwork is mostly black, deep orange and purple. Very dark areas can hide fine detail and small text, so keep text on the darker designs large and light-colored.
