How to get it right
Sealing kraft boxes and bags without hiding the material
Kraft paper, a colored gift bag and a plain shipping box all show their own texture and color right up to the edge of a clear seal, which is the appeal over an opaque label that covers part of the surface. White ink prints under the colored parts of your logo by default, so the design stays its true color against kraft brown or a bag's printed pattern instead of picking up a muddy tint from what's underneath. A 2 to 2.5 inch circle or a custom shape cut to your logo both work well as a closure seal on a folded flap.
Sealing clear bags and poly mailers
On a fully clear bag or a poly mailer, a sticker with no white underlay lets the seal blend almost invisibly into the packaging, which some brands want for a minimal, unbranded look. Most sellers still want their logo to read clearly through the bag, though, so the white-ink underlay stays on by default — note in your order if you'd rather have the fully see-through version instead. Either way, the seal is cut to your exact shape rather than a stock circle, so a wordmark or an icon prints without extra background around it.
Restocking without running out mid-batch
A packaging seal gets used on every order that ships, so it runs out faster than most sticker types — 200 to 300 covers a few weeks for a small shop, while a higher-volume seller does better ordering 500 or more to avoid a mid-month reorder scramble. Production takes about 2 business days after you approve the free digital proof, and free US shipping with tracking means the restock itself doesn't add to your shipping costs; a faster carrier is available at checkout if you're closer to running out than planned.
Questions people ask about these
Will the seal survive a damp warehouse or a rainy loading dock?
Yes. It's printed on waterproof vinyl with a protective overcoat, so humidity, a damp box or a wet loading dock during shipping won't lift the seal or blur the print before the package reaches the customer.
Does the sticker need a background color to be visible on a clear bag?
No — white ink prints under your colored design by default so it stays visible on a clear bag without needing its own background block. If you'd rather the design blend into the bag with no white layer, ask for that in your order notes.
Can you cut the seal to match my logo's shape instead of a circle?
Yes — any custom shape is available at the same setup, cut to your logo's outline or any other shape you send, with no extra design step needed beyond your artwork.
What size works as a box or bag closure seal?
A 2 to 2.5 inch circle or custom shape covers a typical folded flap without overwhelming a small box or bag. Larger packaging can take a bigger custom size — tell us the dimensions and we'll confirm at the proof stage.
How many should I order for a month of shipments?
That depends on order volume, but 200 to 300 is a common starting point for a small shop shipping daily; a higher-volume seller typically orders 500 or more to stretch further between reorders.
Will the sticker come off cleanly if a package gets returned?
The adhesive is permanent, so it's built to stay sealed through transit rather than peel off cleanly — plan on the seal staying with the packaging rather than being removed and reused.
