How to get it right
Your logo and a QR code, not a template
A stock hiring sign says the same three words every competitor's storefront says. A cling built from your own file can carry your logo, your brand colors, and a QR code that opens straight to your application form or a text-to-apply number — the difference between 'now hiring' and 'now hiring at [your name], apply here.' If the QR code is the main call to action, size it generously: a code that scans fine on a phone screen can be too small to catch from a few feet away on a window. Our guide on printing QR code stickers covers the safe minimum size for a scan from arm's length, and the same rule holds for a cling.
Sized for eye level, not a full window
A hiring notice is read up close, by someone already standing at the door deciding whether to walk in — which means it works better at 10" to 12" placed at eye level near the handle than as a full window takeover. A larger 18" to 23" piece makes sense for a busy storefront that wants the notice visible from across a parking lot, but for most single-location hiring, the smaller size reads just as clearly and leaves the rest of the window for everything else the business needs to say.
Applied inside, gone the day the role is filled
Set Mirror when you configure the cling and the proof shows the reversed artwork exactly as it will read from outside once it's on the glass — that keeps it out of reach of weather and anyone inclined to peel a sign off a door. When the position is filled, it comes off in one piece with no adhesive residue to scrape or scrub, so the glass is clean and ready for whatever goes up next, whether that's a new hiring notice or something else entirely.
Questions people ask about these
Can I use my own logo and colors instead of a generic red-and-white design?
Yes — a fixed template isn't something we offer. Upload your logo, colors and wording and we lay it out as a cling.
Can it include a QR code linking to our application?
Yes. Size the code generously so it scans easily from a few feet away — our QR code sizing guide covers the safe minimum, and the same sizing applies here.
What size fits a storefront window versus a single door?
10" to 12" at eye level suits most doors and single panes; go to 18" or 23" if you want the notice visible from across a parking lot.
Should it go on the inside or outside of the glass?
Inside, printed Mirror so it reads correctly from the street — that keeps it out of the weather and away from anyone who might try to tear it off the outside of a door.
Can I order just one for a single location?
Yes — a hiring notice is usually a single piece for a single door, and that's a normal order.
Is it removable once the position is filled?
Yes. There's no adhesive on the film, so it peels off in one piece and leaves nothing behind on the glass.
