Pest Control Truck Decals

This page opens at 20 x 12 inches, drawn to scale on a cargo van: the size for a decal on each front door of a pest control pickup or SUV. A technician pulls into one driveway after another, so the door gets read by the whole street. Twenty by twelve holds a logo, a phone number and one line about the work, and the die cut can follow your logo's outline. Your truck is probably not a van, so use the drawing for scale only and trust your own tape measure. A solid color field behind the logo reads on white and dark paint alike.

How to get it right

The flat spots on a pickup, SUV or small van

Pest control rigs vary: a pickup with a spray tank in the bed, a compact SUV, a small van. Each has one flat stretch worth using, most often the bottom half of the front door, below the glass and away from the handle. Stay off the fuel door, the body crease and any grained plastic trim, because the adhesive needs a clean, dry, smooth surface. A toolbox or storage box in the bed adds a second flat spot for a smaller piece. Cut a paper rectangle at 20 x 12, tape it to the door and walk to the curb to see it the way a homeowner will. The adhesive is permanent, so the paper test is the only rehearsal you get.

What the door says, and a quiet option

Keep the door to three things: the company name, a phone number and one line about the work. A license line is a fourth, and it prints as part of your design, so the rules for it are yours to check. Not every customer wants a truck that announces the visit. For those jobs, a smaller decal on the door, such as 12 x 8 inches with only the logo and the number, or one mark on the tailgate with the doors left plain, keeps your brand without a billboard. A different size or layout is a separate item in the cart, with its own file and its own proof. A company can run both: full doors on some trucks, the quiet mark on others.

Two doors, a crew of technicians, a new hire

One truck takes a pair. Six technicians with a truck each come to twelve pieces; type that number in, since twelve is not one of the quantity tiles. Every piece prints from one file, and one design means one proof. A person on our team checks the size and the cut line before the free proof reaches you, and nothing prints until you approve it. What you receive is one printed piece, never a magnet and never a set of loose letters. Twenty inches is past the 15-inch limit for flat shipping, so the pieces are rolled into a sturdy tube, which leaves us the next business day after you approve the proof, with free US shipping. When you add a truck, upload the same file again.

Questions people ask about these

What size decal fits a pest control truck door?

Twenty by twelve inches is where this page starts, about the lower half of a pickup or SUV door. Your truck decides the real size, so tape a paper rectangle to the door and enter the width and height you land on.

Is this a pest control truck wrap or a magnet?

No. We print one full-color decal for one flat area, and its adhesive is permanent. Wraps, magnetic signs and installation are not something we offer.

Can I put my pest control license number on the decal?

Yes. It prints as part of your design, exactly as you write it. The rules for it are yours to check.

Can a pest control truck be discreet?

Yes. Choose a small door decal or a single tailgate mark, and leave the doors plain if you like. Each design is proofed on its own.

Can I add a QR code to book an inspection?

Yes, if the door has room. Leave a plain white margin around the code, and test the scan from your screen when the proof arrives. The QR code car decals page goes into more detail.

How much do pest control truck decals cost?

It depends on your size and count. The calculator prices your exact order before you pay, and US shipping is free.
