Pool Service Truck Decals

Open this page and you see a decal at 22 x 12 inches on a cargo van drawing: a wide, low piece, one for each door of a pool route truck. A route truck stops at one gate after another, so the street learns your name before anyone needs you. Twenty-two inches gives a company name and a wave or drop mark one long line, and the die cut can trace the outline of your logo. Your truck is likely a pickup, so treat the drawing as a size guide, not a fit check. Choose matte for a door the afternoon sun hits, since it shows less glare.

How to get it right

Doors, bed sides and the pole rack

Many pool route trucks carry their gear on the outside: a rack of long poles, strap points, and a tank or tote in the bed. That leaves the door as the cleanest place for a decal, and the flat side of the bed as a second one. Measure the flat part of the lower door, below the handle, and check where the rack mounts and straps sit before you pick a size. Keep the decal above the splash zone near the bed rail and off the body crease. If the truck has a topper or a service body, its flat side panels follow the same rules. The surface must be clean, dry and smooth. Once the decal is pressed down it stays, so you get one careful placement.

A water mark that reads on a sunny door

Aqua and pale blue suit a pool company and vanish on a white door, so set them against navy or deep teal. A gradient from aqua to blue prints in full color, and the cut can follow the shape of a wave or a drop. Make the company name the largest line and the phone number the second, and leave the service list for your website. A route is hot, wet work. The vinyl is waterproof, so rain and rinse water roll off, and a wipe with a soft cloth and a dry-off at the end of the day keeps it clean. We make no claim about pool chemicals, so rinse any spill off the decal and dry it.

One logo for the fleet, a number for each route

Count the route trucks first, since each one wears a pair. Eight trucks and one shared logo is 16 pieces, printed from one file and checked on one proof. A route number or a technician name is a different design, so it is added as a separate item with a file and a proof of its own, and a small panel beside the logo is the easiest place for it. When a new truck joins in spring, upload the same file again. This is one full-color print cut around your logo, not cut vinyl lettering and not a magnet. At 22 inches it comes rolled in a tube, free within the US, and changes on the free proof cost nothing.

Questions people ask about these

How big should a pool service truck decal be?

This page opens at 22 x 12 inches, a wide, low shape for a pickup door. Measure the flat part of your own lower door, below the handle and clear of the pole rack, and type that width and height.

Will pool chemicals damage the decal?

We make no claim about pool chemicals. The vinyl is waterproof and has a protective laminate, but if a tank splashes the door, rinse the spot with water and dry it.

Can each route truck have its own number?

Yes. A route number or a technician name is its own design, so it gets its own cart item and its own proof. The logo decal can stay the same on every truck.

Is this a pool truck wrap?

No. A wrap covers a large part of a vehicle, and a decal here is one piece for one flat area. We do not make wraps, and we do not install decals.

Should I pick glossy or matte for a truck in the sun?

Both are laminated and waterproof. Matte shows less glare in strong sun, and glossy looks shinier. Pick the one you prefer when you order.

How soon can I get decals for a new route truck?

Decals are printed, laminated and cut within 24 hours, and they ship the next business day after you approve the free proof. USPS delivery takes 3 to 5 business days, free in the US, and faster paid options are listed at checkout.
