How to get it right
Titles, labels and small accents
A good scrapbook sheet has three layers. Titles are the big ones that open a spread: the trip, the year, the baby's name. Labels are mid-size and do the explaining: a place, a date, a person. Accents are small and quiet, such as a star, a suitcase or a leaf, and they tie one page to the next. Make a list in that order and give the designer the exact spelling of every place name. Use Notes for the designer to give a count for each. A letter-size sheet has room for all three layers, which is why it suits an album better than the smaller 4 x 6 inch size.
Matching the album
Take the palette from the album, not from a catalog: the cover color, the paper, the photos you will place beside the stickers. Muted pages suit matte, whose soft finish sits quietly next to printed photo paper. Bright pages can take glossy. Both cost the same. Keep the typefaces to two at most, so titles and labels look related. We make no archival claims for the vinyl, so for an heirloom album place stickers on the page beside a photo, not over it, and test one before you commit the whole spread.
One sheet for the trip, another for the year
Sheets are sold as sets of 5 or more identical copies of one design, which suits a family album where relatives each want a copy. Each different sheet is its own line in the cart with its own proof: the road trip on one, the school year on another, the baby's first twelve months on a third. Not sure what the album needs yet? Order now and upload later, or describe the idea under Design it for me, which is free, and the designer draws original accents without copying anyone's characters or brands.
Questions people ask about these
What goes on a scrapbook sticker sheet?
Titles, place names, dates, captions and small accents for one trip or year. Send the exact spelling and list a count for each in the notes.
Should I choose matte or glossy for a scrapbook?
Choose by look, since both cost the same. Matte is softer and sits quietly beside printed photo paper. Glossy makes color brighter on bold, colorful pages.
Are the stickers archival or acid-free?
We make no archival claims. They are waterproof laminated vinyl. For an heirloom album, place stickers on the page beside photos rather than over them, and test one first.
Is letter size better than 4 x 6 for scrapbooking?
Letter size, 8.5 x 11 inches, fits more stickers and larger titles on one sheet. The 4 x 6 inch sheet is easier to carry in a kit. Both are kiss-cut so each sticker peels off alone.
Can relatives each get the same sheet?
Yes. A design is ordered as a set of five or more identical sheets, so one layout can be shared out. A different sheet is a separate cart line, proofed on its own.
How long until my scrapbook sheets ship?
The proof lands in your inbox within one business day, and changes are free. Once you approve, sheets ship the next business day with free USPS delivery in 3-5 business days, or faster at checkout.
